Commitment to Safety

At Hokkaido Family Kanko Bus, we are always committed to providing safe, secure, and comfortable bus travel for all our passengers.
As a charter bus operator, we implement various measures to ensure the safety of our bus operations.
Vehicle Maintenance

Daily Inspection
Drivers are required to regularly check the condition of the bus. This includes checking tire pressure, lights, and brake performance, among other things.

Statutory Inspection
In compliance with the law, we conduct maintenance for all vehicles at an authorized automobile dealership service center every three months.

Assigned Vehicle System
By assigning a specific vehicle to a particular driver, they become more sensitive to the vehicle's condition. This makes it easier to notice even minor issues and detect problems early.
Operation Management and Driver Training

Alcohol Testing
It is mandated as one of the items to be checked during roll call. A breathalyzer is used to test the driver's breath for alcohol. The alcohol concentration in the breath is measured to ensure it does not exceed the standard limit.

Safety Training
Safety training is a program designed to help employees and drivers acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent accidents and perform their duties safely. Its main objectives are to prevent accidents, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, improve risk management, and enhance emergency response skills.

Health Management
Health checkups for drivers engaged in driving duties are conducted regularly in accordance with laws and regulations to prevent health risks such as fatigue and stress, thereby ensuring safe operations. This allows drivers to perform their duties in good health and helps reduce the risk of accidents.
